Our Story

Nirvana Being started as a movement by one guy struggling to understand why his lungs were collapsing. He was healthy, he was young(ish), had a good lifestyle and exercised regularly.

Multiple visits later, to doctors, to friends, to friends of friends because this is India, Jai, founder, and CEO of Nirvana Being realized that the problem was in the air he was breathing. The problem though was, no solution existed to treat this air, and no one was talking about how much of an impact it could have on everyone living in Delhi and around. Air Pollution, in 2014 was still a concept that most people were unaware of.
So, he started by figuring out how to make himself better, spoke to everyone he could about Air Pollution, and decided to educate himself on everything to do with it.

By the end of 2015, a small store was set up in the heart of Delhi with air pollution masks being retailed in India. Till date, they are the only masks certified by CE and NIOSH (United States National Institute of Safety and Health), with a 95% – 99% filtration technology, reusable and recyclable. And that became the ethos of our business, a great product that would solve a problem, be sustainably made and Internationally certified by the highest authorities.

Today, five years later when the world is finally catching up to the plight of people in dealing with pollution at a ground level, and we are beginning to understand the long-term impact of exposure to air pollution, Nirvana Being has an array of products that protect you everywhere you go – both indoor and outdoor. Starting from specialized masks with the highest certifications for general every day use to sports masks with a higher surface area for better breathing capability, we have products that are highly certified and tested to suit our customer’s needs. We have now moved onto Indoor Air Purification, think homes, offices, apartments or factories, with PM 2.5 under 5% of ambient levels and with carbon dioxide within controlled parameters. It’s a mission to ensure that indoor spaces are health and safety compliant in Delhi NCR and India, as the average levels and exposure increase each year.

We’ve got purification and monitoring solutions for homes, for cars, for centrally conditioned buildings and we’re working hard every day to make clean air more accessible.
